The Wilwood GT 48 Curved Vane Spec-37 Rotor (MPN 160-8165) is engineered specifically for the extreme thermal demands of short track and road course competition. Cast from Wilwood's proprietary Spec-37 iron alloy, this rotor is designed to withstand intense temperatures while providing superior resistance to warping, distortion, and cracking. The metallurgy is derived from extreme-duty military-spec technology to ensure a long service life under high-stress racing conditions.
This right-hand rotor features the GT Series asymmetrical face slot pattern, which effectively vents brake gases and cleans the pad surface without the structural compromises of traditional drilling. Each unit is individually dynamically balanced for smooth, vibration-free operation at all speeds. The 48 internal curved vanes maximize cooling airflow to maintain consistent braking performance during long sessions.
